Giving designers more flexibility when designing liquid crystal displays into compact handheld or portable equipment, Displaytech has used it's CCOG technology to create a new 64x240 module which is only 6.5mm thick. Despite this extremly slim aspect the 64240A module includes a LED backlight providing a luminance of 100cd/m2. Operating from a 3v supply, the display offers a choice of yellow/green, grey and blue mode STN.

Standard features include a wide viewing angle, high contrast ratio and wide temperature operation of -20 to +70C. Measuring 144.90 x 56.40 x 6.50mm, the module is also available with a four wire resistive 0.70mm glass touch screen.
